What We Offer
Group Dog walks- £15
✔️ Structured group walks across Dartmoor, Plym Valley, Wembury coastline, and surrounding South Devon countryside – giving dogs access to varied, natural environments including woodland, rivers, moorland, and beaches.
✔️ Carefully selected small groups built around temperament, energy level, and social balance – ensuring dogs are matched properly, not just grouped together.
✔️ Real-world freedom in safe environments – dogs can run, explore, swim, and play naturally, while still operating within calm structure, boundaries, and recall expectations.
✔️ Walks are designed to build more than exercise – focusing on calm behaviour, neutrality around other dogs, engagement with handler, and reliable recall in open environments.
✔️ Every dog receives a 1-to-1 introduction and assessment session before joining the pack, allowing time to understand their behaviour, needs, and confidence level before structured integration.
✔️ Fully insured, professional service with safe transport, handling, and consistent routines you can rely on.
✔️ Secure collection and drop-off included, with dogs transported safely and managed throughout the entire process.
✔️ Ideal for dogs that need more than a standard walk – combining freedom, fulfilment, and structured training and guidance in real outdoor environments.
This is not a “let them run and tire out” service — it’s structured adventure walking that builds better behaviour, better balance, and a more fulfilled dog.Solo Dog Walks- £25
✔️ Dedicated solo walks for reactive, nervous, or non–dog-friendly dogs, as well as dogs in structured training programmes who require individual attention and controlled exposure.
✔️ Built for dogs that cannot safely or comfortably participate in group environments – providing a calm, predictable, and fully managed 1-to-1 setting.
✔️ Extensive experience handling hundreds of reactive and behaviourally complex dogs, including dogs with reactivity, poor impulse control, anxiety, and environmental triggers.
✔️ Walks take place in carefully selected, lower-traffic or remote areas when needed, allowing controlled exposure and reducing unnecessary stress while still progressing real-world behaviour.
✔️ Full 1-to-1 focus at all times – your dog is never split between multiple dogs or distractions, ensuring safety, consistency, and clear communication.
✔️ Training integration included – I will follow and reinforce your existing training system to ensure consistency, helping accelerate learning rather than conflict with your current approach.
✔️ Real behaviour change through structured exposure work – for example, gradually walking a ball-obsessed dog in environments where balls are present, building calm neutrality and reducing fixation over time through controlled repetition.
✔️ Designed to improve emotional regulation, reactivity thresholds, focus, and environmental confidence, not just to excersise the dog.
✔️ Fully insured professional service with reliable handling, safe transport, and clear communication after every walk.
A specialist service for dogs that need understanding, structure, and skilled handling — turning difficult walks into calm, controlled progress over time.
Dog Training- £30
✔️ Professional dog training tailored to your dog’s individual needs, focused on improving communication, behaviour, and real-world reliability.
✔️ Support with recall, lead walking, impulse control, reactivity foundations, engagement, confidence building, and everyday obedience skills.
✔️ Practical, real-world training designed to work in everyday environments — not just controlled settings.
✔️ Extensive experience working with a wide range of dogs, from straightforward training goals through to more complex behavioural patterns.
✔️ Proven results with issues such as chase fixation, recall under high-distraction environments, and loose lead walking, using structured, consistent training to create measurable real-world change.
✔️ Honest assessment of each case and realistic expectations from the start.
✔️ Where a case presents as more complex or deeper-rooted behavioural issues — such as severe fear responses, trauma-based behaviour, or anxiety-driven conditions — I will always be transparent about the most appropriate route forward.
Dog trainers primarily focus on teaching skills, obedience, and behaviour shaping in real-world environments. Behaviourists, on the other hand, are often better suited to cases where there is a significant emotional or psychological component driving the behaviour that requires a more clinical, behaviour-modification-led approach.
If I believe your dog would benefit more from that level of support, I will always say so and refer you to trusted qualified behaviourists within my professional network across Plymouth and Devon. This is not about taking on every case, but about making sure each dog gets the right help, in the right way, from the right professional.
✔️ Regular collaboration with other trainers and behaviourists to ensure ongoing learning and best possible outcomes for each dog.
✔️ If I am not the right fit for your dog, you will always be guided toward someone who is.
A professional, balanced training service focused on clarity, progress, and doing what is genuinely right for each individual dog — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
“Couldn’t recommend Josh enough. He did amazing with our 6 month old (at the time) French bulldog x Pocket Bully. knowing this breed could be stubborn, we didn't expect the training to go as well as it did. Josh planned the training to the needs we wanted for Storm and had her going from a dog pulling on the lead who was over the top with other dogs, to now ,where she doesn't just walk well on the lead but she's also able to be off lead in open spaces like central park or plymbridge with other dogs and people around without being distracted by them and come back on command.”
